Breakthrough of Victory

Sermon Audio from Sunday, April 16, 2006 — Oh, what a future we have to look forward to! Jesus has passed through death, so we don't have to die. "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" (John 11: 25-26).

Where, O Death, is your sting? Death has been swallowed up in victory! Our future is bright and secure! C.S. Lewis illustrates that wonderful resurrection day all those who are in Christ will experience when we trade our heartbeat for glory. In the final book of his Chronicles of Narnia, the book ends with this message from Aslan the Lion to the kids. "The term is over; the holidays have begun. The dream is ended; this is the morning..."
