God’s Generous Supply

Sermon Audio from Sunday, September 25, 2005 — Our Giving Campaign theme, "Poured Out: Responding to God's Extravagant Grace" is a reflection of our heart at VCKC. We desire to be a church that pours out God's grace on people in this community and around the world, grace that transforms people's lives. But we also know that we cannot pour out unless we are poured into. We have nothing to give unless God pours out His grace on us and in us. We are confident that that is the kind of God we worship: a generous God who is eager to pour out His gracious blessings on us as the Apostle Paul said so well in 1 Timothy 1:14, which is our theme verse, "The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus."

We're considering another verse in one of Paul's letters as we continue our series, this one in the letter to the Philippians, that reflects this expectant attitude that God is generous and is eager to pour out his grace on you and me.
