Our First Response
Sermon Audio from Sunday, October 9, 2005 — I think you know the answer to this question: What is the only appropriate first response to God's poured out grace? "Thank you," right? In other words, worship. If we are to become poured out disciples of Jesus, then we have to first and foremost become poured out worshipers of Jesus. Like my experience of the power of the Spirit, my experience of worship has evolved from what I believe is an inadequate approach to worship to a more Spirit-filled, poured out approach to worship. That's our desire in this church, to become a true worshiping church, and that is one of the reasons God planted a Vineyard Church in Knox County, which is different that the Conservative Evangelical churches and the Charismatic churches. Let's learn what we believe is true poured out worship and you can become a true poured out worshiper.
