A view into day-to-day life at the Vineyard Church of Knox County.

Are Small Groups For Me?

Are you a lone wolf? Taking on the world on your own sounds heroic (and downright American!) but could be extremely detrimental to your spiritual health!!!

We are a new church. We have a brand new building, and are seeing many new faces! Our building is a great blessing....but guess what...it’s not the church....you are! Small groups allow us to build our church body one soul at a time, face to face, hand to hand, heart to heart. It’s where true love and acceptance are expressed, beyond the Sunday morning smiles and handshakes. It’s where healing, prayer and true friendship happens. For more information, visit the information table after a service, or call us, at 392-VINE. (Special small groups also exist, such as mens groups....again, just ask!!)

Prayer Request

BlankHello prayer team,

I’m sorry it has been so long since I updated you on prayer requests for the building.

We have been making quite a bit of progress in the past couple of weeks.  Please
pray that the momentum will continue.

We have an upcoming rough-in electrical inspection for the front building.  That
will probably happen in a couple of weeks.  Please pray that we are making good
choices as we go, and that the inspection will be a positive experience.

Pray for the kitchen and bathrooms, as they are going to take alot of time in the
next couple of months.  That is one of the only areas left where decisions need to
be made.

Pray for more workers.  I feel that we are using the resources God has given us.
Pray for more skilled workers.  We have alot of skilled finish work that needs to be
done (hanging doors, hanging light fixtures, trim, bahtroom, kitchen installation).

Please continue to pray that we all continue this project with God’s timeline and
His heart as our focus.

May God Bless you for your time and passion,
Paul H
