After a wall of windows was taken out, a new wall with smaller windows will be installed.
The rough in of the new wall is complete. Windows will be installed soon.

Framing is complete and electrical and data wires are being install in the office and classroom area.

In the beginning a Mount Vernon landmark, The Rockwell Furniture Store, has ended. Though in it place is the new home, a new hope and a new family of believers from the Vineyard Church of Knox County.
Now the VCKC family has to transform an old furniture store and warehouse into a church. Expect for a few regulatory contract workers all the work is being done by the family of VCKC. The following pictures are of the first days of that transformation.

VCKC believes in the future of the children in the church. This area is to be renovated in the children’s area so that they maybe brought up in through word of God and in the church.
This will be the new entrance and office area.
From the very first meeting about purchasing a new building prayer has been a vital tool for VCKC. Here a few workers pray before starting work.

Demolition is fun work for these two men. Ceiling tiles, wood slates that held the ceiling tile, and installation all need to come down.
