Praise God & Thank You (february newsletter)

Building 1 Siding was hung on the outside of the new wall that replaced the front windows. The Rough-In Plumbing was completed and state-inspected. Concrete was poured back over the plumbing. Three windows were installed in the South wall of the building, in the holes left from the window air conditioners. Work has begun on the parking lot area behind the building’s topsoil removed, and gravel brought in. The Structural cable system was installed in the Worship Center area by J&D Construction of Sugarcreek. And History was made by the removal of the Rockwell sign, which will be housed at the Historical Society.

Building 2 The Rough-in electrical inspection will be next week, which is a huge step for us. We unloaded and stacked 500 sheets of drywall and began hanging drywall on the classroom walls and ceiling. We have done a lot of work on supporting the existing ceiling area to support the drywall that we will be hanging. Two furnaces have been installed and are heating the building. The phone system wiring and computer network wiring has been run.

And thank you to all the young adult girls and many others who consistently show up to help with things that often go unnoticed. Many of you have helped move concrete block, pulled nails from boards, cut and re-rolled the seemingly never-ending insulation, set up electrical outlets, cleaned bathrooms, swept, vacuumed, made lunch/dessert, etc!
